Happy Anniversary Sunday Sketches
Well, according to our wonderful hostess Sophia, over at The Blue Chair Diary, it has been one year since she began Sunday Sketches. A weekly art co-op dedicated to showcasing a sketch created during the week.
We post our sketch and visit our friends!
Sophia started with two participants and now has over 30 participants on any given Sunday!
YAY Sophia, congratulations!
I am so proud of YOU!
Every Sunday she is hostess to this creative blog event. Her dedication has brought all of us together every Sunday, for 52 weeks! It's good to see familiar faces, and new faces every week...it really brightens my day!
It's such a great forum, and filled with such artistic people and talent.
I so love my Sunday Sketch buddies!
So Sophia, this is for YOU!
Thank you!
XO
Heather

SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE
There's much in the world that you can't explain.
It's revealed for you to remember
by the whispering voice of a distant train
or a midnight rain in november.
Horizon within! You can always find
the keys to Enigma. Let's mention
one basic Truth: of spirited Mind
Is Nature naught but extension.
Internal expanses! In dreams, ridden
by fear and longing you roam
that deep Southeast in your soul hidden
...on your random journey back home.

Casualidad sopla la sangre
de alguno señor desconocido
durante los pocos restantes
momentos del resplandor de faroles
que se vislumbran tras el follaje
flameando de las obsesiónes
igual efimero como gotas
del cinzano de la soledad –
En aquel tiempo me levanta
dentro uno incidente avejentado
que en seguida palidece
al camouflaje de abstraccion;
chica, nadie conoce que tus grisos
ojos significan aún; con todo
el sueño que hube evacuado
tu escudriñas nuevamente.

Das Leben dergleichen Halbfaßung

We need a new analysis of probability. My hypothesis is that disorder is as constant as energy, since increasing material disorder, entropy, is counterbalanced by increasing structural regularity, symmetry. I tell you the Law of Entropy and the Law of Symmetry, ruling approximatively equal universal validity derive through bifurcation of the still more basic Law of Probability, that is, math, and rather simple math at that. Can you dig this?

What a great sketch Heather!!! You have captured her so well! I too look forward to sharing with all the great artists that participate each week, and feel I have truly made a friend in you! I never leave your place without feeling happy and smiling...
Hugs and smiles my friend!
Oh, I forgot to respond to your suggestion for a coloring book...That is a great idea. I do color and ink at the same time with my pieces, not the complete sketch and then add color, so I would have to change my process, but that is a wonderful idea. I used to do the complete ink drawing first, and my daughter loved to get a copy and color it as she liked.
I'll have to try that again.
thanks for the sweet comments about how she turned out too!
Smiles

In answer to your question, my canvas goddess measures 15" x 20" and the gold one in my sketchbook is 8" x 12"
My daughter say "it's so pretty. yeah mum? " to which I reply... " it is really cool! :) Super illo. I like how you also put in the Sunday sketch badge :)
