Hello - Today I am sharing a new sketch with you all! 

Remember my This Little Piggy Project, from here?

 Well, she is another Piggy from This Little Piggy Series... 

and this piggy is happy to stay home! 

Currently a work in progress, I hope to complete her by the end of the week!

Sometimes, staying home is the best form of medicine when we are over tired, over scheduled and over run with deadlines, projects and meetings, don't you agree?

So, today, I am staying home. I am going to pour my morning coffee and sit on the front porch. 

Turn on the football game and make chili with my kids....

I am going to enjoy the pleasures of home and the comfort of a lazy Sunday

 ....at HOME!

Sailing into Fall with Muted Tones

Can't you just feel fall?
It's just around the corner for us here on the East Coast, and I LOVE it.

I have been back in The Studio creating some new things for The Shop, 

 and at the same time playing with a few new color palettes.

Muted tones of navy, gray and teal are popping up everywhere I look.

And I am beginning to fall more and more in love with this palette every day
....just like the season!

PS - oh and yes, I have already stocked my Studio with these drinking straws - from here...
aren't they fun?

Celebrating a Decade

It's hard to believe that 10 years ago we brought a little baby home, 

wrapped up in a tiny blanket, weighing only 7 pounds.

It's been wonderful watching my little baby grow into a beautiful, energetic, caring and loving young girl. She is a ray of sunshine to all that she meets and I am so very proud to have her as my daughter.

A big Happy Birthday to You, Summer Rose - 

I am so glad to be your mommy!

Let's Sharpen Our Pencils

It's back to school time!

It's been a whirlwind around here the past few days, getting my girls ready for another school year. The back packs were filled and the lunches were packed and off they went this morning for another year of learning and growing...

Good Luck Girls!

I have always loved this time of year. Back to School, means new friends, new adventures and new ideas... LOTS of new ideas!  I don't know about you but as I child, I LOVED getting my new school supplies. The smell of the shiny new pencils and fresh notebook paper were my favorite -  I couldn't wait for the first day of school to use my fresh pencils and fill my paper with creative ideas and knowledge.

 So friends, off we go...On a new adventure - grab your pencils, and let's get ready for another great year....

 I am off to the drawing board!
